Tip and a helpful newsletter
Here's a quick tip I recently shared with my webmaster group -
When writing a URL in a sentence be sure not to put a period right after it. Example - http://www.web2webgroup.com. If people have to copy and paste you URL a lot of the time they will include the period and may not realize it and think your site doesn't work. Also some email accounts will include the period in the web URL. Always put an extra space before putting the period, if you put on at all. Of course it isn't just periods, it and mark after the URL or site address.
Here's a very helpful newsletter. It's one of only a handful of newsletters I receive. As you might know most sites offer a newsletter to help and then send nothing but affiliate links to you inbox. This one is different, they offer actual content. Stories about others working and succeeding online. They also send links, but only truely helpful sites. I usually print out this newsletter each month and read it. It allows you to keep really helpful parts to use as a reference. Here's where you go to sign up - http://www.associateprograms.com/
