Small Business Summit 2008
Today was the first day of this year's Microsoft Small Business Summit, March 24 - 27. I must say so far it's surpassed my expectations by a lot. I regularly enjoy attend webinars and other online trade shows and Microsoft has outdone all the rest. The speakers are truly dedicated to small and home businesses and stick to easy to understand topics. The best part is the SBS (Small Business Summit) has video so you can see the people talking streaming live to your lap or desktop computer. It really does help seeing what the people that are giving you their stories and helpful tips look like. Today's SBS went by really fast, and every hour there were 3 different speakers so the topics ranged.
If you haven't attended an online trade show or webinar I would highly recommend it. They are almost always free and packed with information. Being online makes it especially nice. You can pop in when you find the time or just watch from home, no traveling. Here are some links to help you find an upcoming online event.

http://www.ecomxpo.com - eComXpo for people working on the internet. 2 time per year.

There are many more sites that offer virtual events, these are just the ones I am most familiar with. Virtual event topics can be on anything, so don't think they are just for business owners or marketing related.
